Most of us simply head for the rising sun, along Great Eastern Highway from the metro area. And, in WA terms, it isn’t far — a pretty leisurely day out and you’re in Kal, ready to explore Kalgoorlie Boulder and then launch further afield.
The Prospector train runs between Perth and Kalgoorlie every day.
