Celebrity Cruises is raising the bar in modern luxury cruising, literally.
At the unveiling of their new ship, Celebrity Beyond, much excitement revolved around the Nate Berkus-designed two-storey Sunset Bar across the upper decks.
The Oprah-approved Interior Designer has taken cues from Moroccan, Greek and Uruguayan design. Think curved archways, terracotta and tiles, private nooks and banquettes. It’s a design not seen before in cruising. It’s one of the changes cruisers can expect to experience on the third of the Edge Class ships, which sets sail in April 2022 from Southampton, England.

Nate Berkus is just one of the big names lured into adding their personal touch to the Celebrity cruise brand. Also confirmed by Celebrity Cruises, Gwyneth Paltrow will become the brand’s new ‘Wellness Advisor’. Details are yet to be revealed but so far we know her company, goop, will supply fitness kits in the AquaClass SkySuites, and they’re working on curating wellness programs together.
