And now that Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos and Richard Branson continue to work to make the vast reaches of space the ultimate exclusive vacation getaway, images of Tie-Fighters, and X-Wing fighters, and Imperial Walkers on the decks of real-live-superyachts and superyacht shadow vessels aren’t that far-fetched after all.

The 464-foot-long NORD that was designed by Nuvolari-Lenard built by Lürssen in Germany and describes as a “warship wearing a tuxedo” is not only one of the newest and largest superyachts to be launched this year. NORD’s distinctive bow design is also perfect launch pad for a Star Wars spaceship on Star Wars Day.

And this year, it’s more than just the large ships that are getting the full “Star Wars” treatment.

I wonder what the US Coast Guard would say about a “boarding party” that’s comprised of Darth Vader himself?
