Your home gym may include multiple pieces of equipment or a simple set of weights. In an effort to help everyone work out at home, NordicTrack, a company with years of experience of getting people off the couch, has created several innovative approaches to keep you motivated. First, there is something for everyone in their expansive array of home products. You can get a bike, a treadmill, a rower, a fusion weight machine or even a skier. So, there are no more excuses for not getting into peak shape (or something like that), even if your gym is closed or you don’t feel comfortable going back quite yet.
The highest-end treadmills match those at your gym
There are multiple versions of most of the machines, ranging from the super high-end to something more appropriate for those who want a simpler machine. The highest end treadmill goes up to 12mph and has a 40% incline ($3,999), but you can also get one with fewer options for less than $1,300. The machines come with large screens and iFit classes, which is NordicTrack’s online platform. Classes are taught by some amazing trainers; this is your chance to row with Olympic gold-medalists Susan Francia and Alex Gregory or go for a run with Olympic marathon qualifier Ashley Paulsen.
The iFit trainers will not let you slack off. Join one of their online classes, and your machine automatically adjusts the speed, incline and resistance without you touching a button. So you don’t need to fumble with any adjustments as you push yourself up a challenging hill. (You can override if you feel you must).
