Visible from miles away is the conical shape of Monduver, a final peak on an extensive ridge that finally lifts up to a perfectly shaped summit suitable for adornment with multiple masts and dishes to aid our modern day communications.
Looking south from the summit ridgeBecause of the shape of this summit cone it is often mistaken for an erstwhile volcano. But of course it is not, being solidly limestone lifted up from below ancient seas and just like all of our other mountains and ridges.
