Price is not an object or at least not the primary object of concern for private jet travelers. While the cost of private flights has always been the primary impediment to the fancy skies’ democratization, that’s no longer the case.
According to new research of over 500 private jet operators, COVID-19 protocols and cleaning of private jets between flights trumped cost by a nearly three-to-one margin.

The JETNET iQ survey asked about the biggest concerns of passengers and customers. At the top of the list was cleaning procedures between flights (22.3%). Air circulation in the cabin (12.1%), maintaining social distancing throughout the flight and on the ground (7.7%), crew health screening (7.4%), eliminating overnight stays (6.2%), removing fuel stops (4.4%), and keeping empty seats next to each passenger (2.1) followed. In total, 62.2% cited issues related to minimizing exposure to COVID-19.
By contrast, only 21.5% of respondents pointed to the cost of private jet travel as a critical concern, and just 8.4% cited cabin comfort while 4.3% said flight time. Only 3.3% of private jet travelers are worried about WiFi availability, and just two-tenths of a percent cited the use of sustainable aviation fuel as something on the mind of their passengers.
