Customers will have the option of walk-in or drive-through tests, which must be pre-booked online, costing between 99 and 159 euro. A second facility is to begin operation on Monday, November 23.

Randox, the private company running the walkthrough tests near Terminal 2, said that they have the capacity to offer ‘high volume PCR testing, which is currently the only method of Covid-19 testing recognised and approved by every country worldwide’.

Meanwhile, RocDoc, who are providing drive-through tests in the Express Green car park, said they will be ‘installing a category two testing facility, which will be able to process over and above the expected capacity per day’.
