With California’s projected reopening scheduled for June 15th, this varied wine country region north of San Francisco will again be a focus for road trips in the summer. Montage Healdsburg With the official opening of this multifaceted resort in January from the company with deluxe properties in Laguna Beach, Deer Valley and Maui, Sonoma now has a deluxe property on the level of the top properties over in Napa. There are 130 contemporary rooms and suites in earth tones lined with natural wood including the three bedroom, 4600 square foot hilltop suite Guest House with a wraparound balcony overlooking the Alexander Valley. A main feature is the restaurant Hazel Hill showcasing French-influenced California cuisine utilizing the estimable local ingredients.
