Plane passenger puts gum in hair of fellow traveller whose long locks blocked screen

Unless you’ve been blessed with a seat in first class or business, your experiences aboard planes have probably been more like stressful waiting games than enjoyable journeys.

Now one traveller has taken to TikTok to share exactly why that can be, showing how a woman had flicked hair over a TV headset, blocking the screen of the passenger behind her.

The video — which some have branded fake — shows the nightmare situation confronting the woman and how she vents her frustrations sky-high, mixing gum into her co-traveller’s blonde locks.

Coffee and a lolly are also worked, grossly, into the hair. At one stage a flight attendant walks past, but doesn’t seem to notice the shenanigans going on.

Many have argued the clip — which has been viewed 100 million times on TikTok — was staged, since the woman in front would have noticed her hair being tampered with.
