Rosewood Washington, DC recently announced the opening of new townhouse accommodations, located in a prime location in the heart of Georgetown directly adjacent to the luxury hotel. The timing of this new residential-style offering couldn’t be more opportune.
During a presidential transition, a flurry of real estate activity takes place in DC between Election and Inauguration Days—resulting in spikes in home rentals, home sales and purchases, and searches for temporary quarters for soft landings.
“In past elections, regardless of the marketplace, we’ve seen a rise in inventory and buyer pool during a change of administration,” said Samer Kuraishi, a Best of Zillow Premier Agent and President of The ONE Street Company, a real estate firm in D.C. “We are already seeing a rise in relocation requests to the DC area.”
